Jack is a regulatory compliance and financial services professional with over 25 years of experience supporting banks, broker-dealers, fixed-income dealers, money services businesses, ATSs, trust and insurance companies, Portfolio Managers, Exempt Market Dealers, Investment Fund Managers, mutual fund dealers, fintech companies, and crypto and cannabis platforms and issuers. He has assisted in the registration of numerous entities with North American and Asian securities regulators and has provided ongoing and interim CCO and CAMLO compliance services to a range of regulated financial institutions.

Jack serves as an international advisor to blockchain companies, digital asset exchanges, traditional stock exchanges, and regulated financial entities across North America, Asia, the Caribbean, Australia, and Europe. He has provided regulatory compliance advisory services in connection with ICO, STO, and IEO structures and token distributions across multiple jurisdictions.

He is a subject matter expert in Anti-Money Laundering compliance and served as a witness in a major banking litigation proceeding before the Canadian Competition Tribunal in Ottawa. Jack is a regular speaker on regulatory compliance topics and has been featured in the National Post.

Jack teaches in the graduate MFAcc program at York University’s School of Administrative Studies, where his courses include Advanced Securities Law, Advanced Corporate Governance, and Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.

Jack holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Law from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and completed both a General LL.M. and a Securities Law LL.M. at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. He is also a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.A. (Hons) in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Toronto.
