Pat Sonti

Pat V. Sonti has over three (3) decades of transactional experience covering structured/project finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic sale, initial public offerings (IPOs), acquisitions and divestiture (A&D), restructuring, and reorganization.  Key areas of expertise in “bankable” transactions includes conducting detailed due diligence, commercial market assessment, asset valuation, financial modelling/analysis, risk assessment and mitigation strategies, legislative and regulatory policy advisory, government relations/advocacy.  Also, impact of influencing factors such as monetary policy, central banking, and geopolitics.

He has served as part of core teams for sponsors, developers, equity investors, lenders, and insurers.  Emphasis on assets under management (AUM) consisting of existing assets (operating, stranded, and distressed), brownfield expansion, and developing greenfield projects and programs.  In addition, he has experience in innovation and state-of-art technology development from research and development (R&D) to advanced commercialization.  His experience covers multiple global sectors, industries, markets, and related supply/value chain infrastructure such as natural resources, mining/metals, energy/electricity, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, high-end fashion/apparel/textiles, artificial intelligence, blockchain, alternative currencies, aviation, aerospace, and military defense.

He has served as adjunct faculty in both bachelor’s and master’s degree courses in project finance, enterprise risk assessment, financial services, and energy resources and economics.  He is a member of the American Nuclear Society, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Underfashion Club, USA Track & Field, and the Trojan Masters Track Club.  He is a recipient of the Service Award from the American Chamber of Commerce (India), the President’s Award from Parsons Corporation, as well as other awards and citations.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California and is a member of the USC Alumni Association.  He serves as a volunteer mentor assisting minorities, the elderly, the disabled, and the disadvantaged.  He competes in Masters’ track and field events in the 50 meters, 100 meters, 200 meters, and the long jump.
