Blayne brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a proven track record as a portfolio manager, fund manager, investment advisor, investment banker, and C-suite executive. He has built businesses and guided families across wealth management and investment banking, consistently delivering strong results for his clients, investors, and stakeholders. 

He began his finance career building a sizeable wealth management practice at a leading U.S.-owned investment dealer in Canada, before joining a boutique Toronto-based investment bank. Rising to President & CEO where he oversaw all aspects of the dealer, strengthened its compliance framework in collaboration with Canadian regulators, and positioned the firm as one of the country’s top boutique investment banks.

Under his leadership, the firm achieved record financial results, swinging from loss to profitability in the first year and delivering a tenfold increase in net profit in the second. He directed the origination of more than $750M in transactions across 30 early-stage companies, guided entrepreneurs on their path to IPO, and built a high-performance culture among bankers, analysts, and advisors.
